Proceeds from the event will go toward refurbishing the Perry Monument area, including construction of a new pavilion. That site will be ground zero for events commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Lake Erie in 2013.

So far, just one other big new concert has rolled in: Aerosmith and Cheap Trick at Quickens Loan Arena in Cleveland on June 19. Tickets will go on sale March 31 at www.theqarena.com and by phone at (888) 894-9424.
Presque Isle Partnership will soon post a FAQ on the event on its site, www.discoverpi.com and on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/presqueislepartnership.

  1. Jerry says:

again…. another Erie fundraiser that has to involve alcohol…. doesn’t anyone in this community think a fundraising event can exist without booze?

  2. Mike Geiger says:

Join the Presque Isle Partnership today to get in on the 2 day presale!

  3. George says:

Lighten up, Jerry. It’s Rock’n Roll.

  4. Dave K says:

Alcohol is prohibited on Presque Isle, unless you are part of Erie’s elite. The common man gets busted when having even a concealed alcoholic beverage at the Sunset Series. Would’nt that be justice if the hypocrite rich get rained out!
