Apparently the gorgeous weather has convinced people who were on the fence to take the plunge for Crosby, Stills & Nash on Saturday at Beach 11 at Presque Isle State Park.
Tickets are moving briskly today, however they are not yet sold out.
Sales will continue online through 7 p.m. today at www.erieevents.com, and, in person, to 5 p.m. at the Warner Theatre box office. You can also call 452-4857.
If any tickets remain, you can get them at the Nature Center at Presque Isle State Park on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.
After that, any remaining tickets will be sold at the gate at Beach 11.
If you were supposed to pick up tickets at will call today and forget, you’ll need to get those at the gate, instead, starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Just $100 seats remain. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets include parking at Beach 8 and Beach 10. Shuttles will take you to Beach 11 and back.
The last forecast I saw for Saturday looks great: High of 77 and sunny.
By the way, don’t worry about having a “bad” seat at this one. The furthest seat will be only 70 yards from the stage, And the stage, by the way, is immense, not some fly-by-night thing. You’ll be blown away.
Proceeds benefit fund-raising efforts for the Perry Monument area, which will be ground zero for Perry 200 events in 2013.
Tickets for the Tiesto concert at Erie Insurance Arena on Oct. 3 will go on sale Tuesday. They are $45 for general admission on the floor or for seating on the side. College students with ID will pay $40, though there is a limited amount of seats at that price and a limit of two per person.
Opening acts for Tiesto will be announced next week.
Modest Mouse’s concert at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE on Friday is now sold out, so don’t go if you don’t have tickets.
