This just in: The Club Life College Invasion tour with electronic dance music superstar Tiesto that was scheduled for Wednesday at Erie Insurance Arena has been canceled.
“Tiesto regrets to announce that due to a back injury he has been advised to take the month of October off from performances and is expected to reach a full recovery,” states the press release.
That injury also wiped out shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and Big Four Building in Calgary. The release says all dates will be rescheduled, except for Erie’s.
“Due to a conflict in scheduling, the Erie, PA performance … will not be rescheduled at this time. Refunds are available point of purchase.”
The Tiesto show was supposed to be the first event at the expanding and recently re-named Erie Insurance Arena. Instead, that honor now goes to the Erie Otters, who plays Brampton on Friday night.
