Black Keys in Pittsburgh, Oscar noms

How about this double bill: Black Keys with Flaming Lips opening up?
That tour will hit Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center on April 30. Tickets go on sale Jan. 11 at Ticketmaster.

Oscar nominations will be announced live on morning news shows on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. EDT by Seth MacFarlane, who will also serve as the Oscar host, and actress Emma Stone.
Look for “Lincoln,” “Argo,” and “Zero Dark Thirty” to do exceptionally well; I think “Life of Pi,” “Les Miserables,” and “Silver Linings Playbook” are probably Best Picture locks as well.
As many as 10 films could be nominated, so others in the mix include “Django Unchained, “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” “Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” “Amour” and “Moonrise Kingdom.”
Could “Skyfall” become the first-ever Bond film to make the best picture cut? Critical support for “The Master” is high, but will the Academy honor it?
The Director’s Guild nominees will be announced tomorrow; just five make that cut.
