The Erie SeaWolves have started a Gloves for Kids equipment drive with the SeaWolves Student Ambassadors. The SeaWolves Student Ambassadors is a unique program that gives area high school students the chance to learn about careers in sports and develop community service projects. The equipment drive is underway until April 20. Fans are encouraged to drop off new or gently used baseball and softball equipment to the SeaWolves ticket office or bring the equipment to Erie’s home game on April 20 against Trenton.

All items go toward helping the youth baseball and softball players in the Erie community. Fans who donate a glove or other equipment will receive a complimentary ticket to be used at a SeaWolves home game during May 25-June 6. Erie opens the season at Jerry Uht Park on April 4 at 6:35 p.m.
