Seattle (Harang 0-1) at Texas (Grimm 0-0), 3:05 p.m.
Detroit (Fister 3-0) at L.A. Angels (C.Wilson 1-0), 3:35 p.m.
Kansas City (Guthrie 2-0) at Boston (Webster 0-0), 7:05 p.m., 2nd game

NL
Miami (Sanabia 2-1) at Cincinnati (H.Bailey 1-1), 1:10 p.m.
Washington (Zimmermann 3-0) at N.Y. Mets (Gee 0-3), 1:10 p.m.

St. Louis (Westbrook 1-1) at Philadelphia (K.Kendrick 1-1), 8:05 p.m.

The players to target:

Must start

Homer Baily should get Ks and a win against the Marlins. … Jordan Zimmerman should improve to 4-0 after Sunday’s game against the Mets.

Good start

I like having someone go from those late Sunday night games, and Jake Westbrook fits. … I’ll go with Kris Medlen against the Pirates. … Roll the dice with Chad Billingsley. … Ryan Dempster and Ervin Santana are good starts. If I had to go with one, it would be Dempster. … Tommy Malone 18.2 IP and 15 Ks. … C.J. Wilson meets Doug Fister today. I like Wilson a little better than Fister. … I’ll take Barry Zito at home over Eric Stults.

Neutral

Kyle Kendrick doesn’t excite me. … Allen Webster gets a start for the Red Sox. Good rook, but I’m a little tepid on rookies making first starts. If you like being the first to own someone, grab him, but I usually play it safe. … Jeremy Guthrie will oppose Webster. … Juan Nicasio might get the win against the D’backs. … Alex Sanibia has two wins. I’m not sure how any Marlins pitcher has two to this point. … Jake Arrieta has good stuff, but when will he put it all together? … Roberto Hernandez should be skipped. … Gavin Floyd is due to win one.

Avoid

No way I trot Jonathan Sanchez out there. … Don’t like Brandon McCarthy against the Rockies in Denver. … Ivan Nova vs. Josh Johnson could be an 8-7 game — or worse. … Dillon Gee is bad. … Scott Diamond is bad, too. … After Saturday night, I’d stay away from the Indians and Astros. Ubaldo Jiminez meets Erik Bedard. … I might be too picky, but Scott Feldman and Wily Peralta fall into this category.
