Former Erie SeaWolves outfielder Casper Wells is now a member of the Chicago White Sox. He was acquired for cash considerations. Wells started the season with the Seattle Mariners before being designated for assignment during spring training. He was picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays and the Oakland Athletics but was designated for assignment by both. Wells is 0-for-5 this season with the A’s and didn’t play a game with either the Mariners or Blue Jays.
