Notes: Erie will have to deal with fireballer Michael Pineda on Tuesday as he makes a rehab start for the New York Yankees. Pineda is coming back from a torn labrum and is making his first Double-A start on Tuesday. … Erie and Trenton split a four-game series early this season before being swept in Trenton at the end of May. Erie scored just six runs in the three-game sweep. … Daniel Fields is day-to-day with stitches in his chin from a deflected pitch. He missed Sunday’s game after being hit on Saturday. … Patrick Cooper will start the first game after coming off the disabled list this weekend. He had shoulder issues earlier this year and went through a simulated game last week without a problem.
