Here’s who I like — and don’t:

Must start
I’m going with Cliff Lee, Lance Lynn, Mike Leake, A.J. Burnett, Zack Greinke and C.J. Wilson if I have them.

Good start
I won’t make Rick Porcello a must start since he’s had some clunkers, but I really like him today. .. I like Ervin Santana and Zack Wheeler today, too. It’s too bad they face each other; someone won’t get a win (or both). If I had a choice, I’d go Santana. … Felix Doubront has a nice matchup. … Scott Kazmir gets the bump, thanks to the Marlins. … Time to give some props to Kyle Lohse. Not sure how much run support he’ll get. At least he goes against Taylor Jordan (1-3). … The Pirates’ offense is so flighty, Juan Nicasio could toss a gem today. … Nice AL West matchup with Derek Holland against A.J. Griffin. Go with either. … Wei-Yin Chen is 6-3, 2.87. Gotta stick with him.

Neutral
The Tribe isn’t exactly having an easy time with the Marlins, so Nathan Eovaldi is worth a flier today. … Maybe you can get a QS out of Alex Wood today, but that’s it. … Phil Hughes might have success at SD, so he’s viable. … I’ve written off Ian Kennedy. At least he’s in a pitcher’s park. … Roberto Hernandez is 6-11. His mound opponent is Guillermo Moscoso, so Hernandez has a shot at a 7th win. … Joe Saunders is just one of those guys. He happens to face the O’s today. … Mark Buehrle could be good. Could be bad. He’s usually bad on the road.

Avoid
Not liking the Carlos Villanueva matchup against the Dodgers. … I’d stay away from Moscoso. … Same with Brandon McCarthy (2-4, 5.00) against the Red Sox. … Andre Rienzo had a good debut last week, but I’d like to see more. This is more of a conservative approach I have with rooks. … I’d prefer to stay away from the Astros-Twins game today (Brad Peacock vs. Mike Pelfrey). Of course, there are those that think this game with two pitchers with a combined ERA of over 13 could be 3-2. I’m just not one of them.
