Akron, the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, has a new mascot and now a new manager. Former Akron Aeros catcher David Wallace will usher in the 2014 season as the manager of the Akron RubberDucks. Wallace, 34, spent seven years in the minor leagues and managed High-A Carolina this past season. Wallace becomes the third new manager in the Eastern League this coming season. Brian Daubach was named the new Harrisburg manager and Billy McMillon is the new manager in Portland.
