8th inning: Steven Moya hits his second homer of the game to give Erie a 7-6 win. Moya finishes with 6 RBIs.

7th inning: Jamie Johnson gets a one-out single and Jason Krizan with a two-out single, but Aaron Westlake grounds out to end the inning. Erie 6, Altoona 6

Alen Hanson leads off with a walk, steals second and goes to third on a flyout, but Jose Valdez strikes out Matt Curry and Keon Broxton to end the threat.

6th inning: The Steven Moya show continues as Erie ties the game once again. With two outs, Ramon Cabrera drew a walk before Brandon Mann came in to relieve Tyler Sample. Dean Green then hit a deep fly ball to right that Kawika Emsley-Pai fell down chasing and it bounced over the wall for a ground-rule double. Moya followed with a two-run single to center to tie the game. Erie 6, Altoona 6

Altoona takes a 6-4 lead on some sloppy baseball. Keon Broxton walks and steals second before Justin Howard’s groundball is booted at second. Andy Vasquez then doubles over first base to bring in a run. Jose Valdez comes in and walks Kawika Emsley-Pai to load the bases. Drew Maggi hits a comebacker to Valdez, but he gets one out at first, allowing a run to score. Altoona then tries a suicide squeeze, but Gift Ngoepe lets the pitch go and Vasquez is out at home. Ngoepe then strikes out swinging to end the inning. Altoona 6, Erie 4

5th inning: 1-2-3 inning for Tyler Sample.

Altoona ties it up without a two-our run somehow. Bryan Augenstein came in to pitch and allowed a one-out single to Gift Ngoepe before Alen Hanson crushed a two-run homer to right. Erie 4, Altoona 4

4th inning: Erie takes a 4-2 lead after Steven Moya hits a two-out, two-run home run to left-center. Erie 4, Altoona 2

Altoona gets a baserunner but that’s it.

3rd inning: Another 1-2-3 inning for Tyler Sample. Erie 2, Altoona 2

1-2-3 inning for Nick Avila, who has retired seven in a row.

2nd inning: Erie ties the game after some terrific baserunning. Aaron Westlake walks and steals second after two flyouts. Steven Moya then singles to center to drive in a run. Moya steals second, third and scores as Corey Jones’ ground ball is misplayed at first. The first baseman got the ball to Sample, but he missed first base. Erie 2, Altoona 2

A nice 1-2-3 inning for Nick Avila. Altoona 2, Erie 0

1st inning: Quick 1-2-3 inning for Tyler Sample.

Altoona races out to a 2-0 lead right away. Gift Ngoepe walks and Matt Curry walks with two outs. Both move up on a passed ball before Keon Broxton rips a two-run single. Altoona 2, Erie 0

6th inning: Jamie Johnson with a one-out single and goes to second and third on wild pitches, but Devon Travis strikes out and Jason Krizan flies out to right. Altoona 2, Erie 0

Slade Smith in to pitch for Erie and he loads the bases on three hits, but he gets a groundout to end the inning.

5th inning: Corey Jones breaks up the Joely Rodriguez no-hitter with two outs with a base hit to left. That’s all for Erie.

Altoona takes a 2-0 lead and wouldn’t you know it, both runs come with two outs. Elias Diaz singles and Keon Broxton walks. Willy Gracia grounds out to the pitcher before Gift Ngoepe walks the bases loaded. After Drew Maggi pops out to second. Alen Hanson then ripped a two-run double to right. Altoona 2, Erie 0

4th inning: Another 1-2-3 inning for Joely Rodriguez.

Mel Rojas leads off with a walk, but he is thrown out stealing second. That’s it for Altoona in a scoreless game.

3rd inning: Corey Jones draws a leadoff walk, but Erie can’t take advantage of it.

Gift Ngoepe draws a one-out walk but Jeff Ferrell limits the damage as he gets two fly balls to end the inning. Still scoreless at the Uht.

2nd inning: Another 1-2-3 inning for Joely Rodriguez. Keon Broxton made a solid catch in left field to rob Ramon Cabrera of a hit.

Stetson Allie pops out to second, Elias Diaz flies out to center and Keon Broxton grounds out to short as Jeff Ferrell has a 1-2-3 inning.

1st inning: 1-2-3 inning for Joely Rodriguez, but Altoona has to make a defensive change. Drew Maggi moved to third and Jarek Cunningham left the game after taking a grounder in his “stomach”. Gift Ngoepe comes in to play second.

Two quick outs before Mel Rojas hits a rocket off Jeff Ferrell’s leg for a single. Ferrell is OK and he strikes out Matt Curry to end the inning.

Notes: Erie made a move this morning as relief pitcher Bryan Augenstein was activated from the disabled list. To make room for him, reliever Brennan Smith was placed on the temporary inactive list. Augenstein started the season on the disabled list for the SeaWolves and pitched in one game when he came back, before going back on the DL with an injury. He allowed one hit in three batters that he faced on April 16. … Erie is on a six-game losing streak for the first time since May 28-June 2, 2013. The SeaWolves’ last seven-game losing streak was August 14-19, 2012 including four losses at Bowie and three against Harrisburg. Erie’s last eight-game losing streak was July 21-28, 2012. … Altoona leads the Eastern League with 57 errors. … Jason Krizan is on a 10-game inning streak for the SeaWolves.
