House lady — saltbox, skulls and chocolate. Oh my!

If you never had the pleasure of visiting a saltbox, here’s a photo of one. The Evans Road home I wrote about looks a lot like this piece of history, and it  is on some impressive Millcreek acreage. And it includes a barn. I’m a sucker for barns.

House to Home is full of great stories. You can read my story here.

We have a great article on skulls. While skulls aren’t my personal taste in decor, the novelty is fun and it’s not just for Halloween.  This skull ice bucket on Amazon is pretty cool at $14.87.

T- shirts with skulls — they were practically illegal when my kids were little — now, they’re everywhere! And we have a story on goldleafing chocolates. MMM. Enjoy the weekend saltboxes, skulls, chocolate and all.

Freebies winners: Congrats to Charlene Heinning of Mayville, winner of the powder lifter — a salon service at Charisma, and to John Chacona, winner of the Modern Family calendar. Thanks for your comments!
