Vodka — a cleaner and a cocktail

Would you likeĀ that cleaner shaken or stirred?

Well, who knew that vodka could clean chrome plumbing, freshen clothes and more? I learned all about it on CBS’ morning show yesterday. Now, I know rubbing alcohol does the same thing, but with a somewhat nasty medicinal odor.

No olives or lemon twist required for cleaning. And keep the flavored stuff out of the cleaning category. The best part of this TV segment was that a shot of vodka and a teaspoon of sugar will give extra life to cut flowers. Well, I’ll drink to that.

Watch the segment on vodka’s little known usesĀ here.

  1. You are absolutely right, Vodka is an effective cleaner too. It removes the smell of smoke from the clothes. It removes the stains from jeans and at some points it helps in cleaning the stains of carpet.

  2. Wonderful work! That is the kind of information that are supposed to be shared around the net. Disgrace on the search engines for now not positioning this submit higher! Come on over and visit my web site . Thank you =)
