Where’s Seuss? Here, silly goose

Dr. Seuss’ birthday is tomorrow, but plan today to celebrate. Because it’s fun. Really, hon. My faves are the “The Foot Book” and “Oh, the Places You’ll Go.”

If you need to get reacquainted with Seuss, goerie.com has all the events for you in Showcase. Here’s a roundup:

At the Experience Children’s Museum, 420 French St., kids ages 2 to 5 can celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday tomorrow with food, stories and special activities at a Green Eggs and Ham brunch, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost: Members, $12; nonmembers, $15 (includes one parent and one child); each additional child, $5. Info: Call 453-3743.

Find some of the Dr. Seuss movies and reviews here.

Seuss is at the movies. “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax” with the voices of Betty White, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Ed Helms and Danny DeVito opens tomorrow at Tinseltown and Movies at Meadville. Read the review here.

The Erie Zoo is also celebrating with story time tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Get details here, and beat feet to enjoy the events.
