House lady — get the dirt on Bay City Gardeners

Meeting people who are passionate about gardening is one thing, but seeing them in their elements is quite another. We met gardeners this week in House to Home.

I went to high school with gardener Diane Schneider, but our paths didn’t cross that frequently over the years — until Facebook. Then she shared that her home was going to be on a garden tour — off I went to see the beautiful landscape she and her husband had created. Read the article and see pictures of lovely Diane here.

Diane explained that she is a member of Bay City Gardeners, a group of city of Erie gardeners who have some of the most stunning urban gardens. Their tour takes place July 15 — check out details in the article.

Also check out how to protect your family from poison ivy — a curse to my family. Read how to hang art in your home by Sabrina Fischer of Sassy Peacock and check out all the regional garden tours in Buds & Blooms by Sue Scholz.

And in case you haven’t heard — we have video tours – check them out here with our sponsor John V. Schultz.
