If you find your textbooks cost as much as a college class, you do have options.
My kids used a variety of eBay sites to track down college textbooks, but even more options exist now.
New books can often exceed $200 per book, but savvy students share, get books on disk, read them online and rent them.

I use the search engine BigWord.com which compiles the best prices from all the text book sites. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars for my college students. Now some are rentals or used but so far all have been in excellent shape and rentals are easy to return in prepaid/addressed envelopes.
Check first on a textbook price comparison website to make sure what option and merchant is cheapest. Sometimes a used textbook can be cheaper than a rental or e-book. Remember to include shipping price in your consideration !!!
