House Lady — garden art, pureWash and retro ranches

In House to Home this week, my family tested out pureWash for the past month, and it works. Read more about this neat idea that uses no detergent and only cold water here.

Sue Scholz interviews Peep Brereton, who shows off some great ideas for treasure towers made of old dishes and glass at her Lake Shore home. These sculptures look great in the garden. Read it here.

And old ranches and 60s and 70s furnishings are finding new fans among  a younger generation. Read the homes story here, and hold onto your hat — these kids are loving avocado kitchens too — read that one here.

Looking to decorate for fall? Great ideas here.
