Women make up a third of U.S. lawyers, doctors
The Wall Street Journal reports that in 1970, women accounted for 9.7% of the nation’s doctors and just 4.9% of its lawyers, according to Census data. What a difference a generation makes. Now it’s 32 percent and 33 percent.
