Visiting Nurse Association welcomes new executive director

Congratulations to Christine N. O’Brien, R.N., B.S.N., the 10th executive director of the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County (VNA), a 107-year-old agency. O’Brien has been VNA’s director of clinical services for 16 years. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and has completed coursework toward a master of science degree in nursing administration at Gannon University.VNA’s mission is to, “provide quality, cost effective home health care and hospice services to residents of Erie County, regardless of the ability to pay.” Congratulations, Christine!

Pam Parker is the editor of Lake Erie LifeStyle, Her Times and House to Home at the Erie Times-News in Erie, Pa. She is the mom of three, stepmom to three and step-grandmom to one.
