Fish is good for us. Kelp is good for us.  Coral calcium is good for us, and so is seaweed? Karen Ravn, of the Los Angeles Times, says it can helps us shrink sizes, healthy up our hair, lower blood pressure and blood sugar, strengthen our bones, brain and joints. It’s hyped for stopping cancer, shrinking cellulite and smoothing wrinkles. Holy cow, what doesn’t it do?

Read her article here. Years ago in Prevention magazine, I learned what coral calcium could do, and now the National Institutes of Health, is looking at seaweed. Skin care company Repechage offers seaweed-based products. Food producers are gaining interest, and I’ve had seaweed wraps — not the food — the spa type things.
There are a lot of good things in seaweed — it’s rich in iodine and other minerals, but check out Ravn’s article before you invest in anything with seaweed.
