Walk your dog at the Annual Walk for Small Animals

Two and four-legged friends are invited to participate in Because You Care’s 17th Annual Walk for Small Animals on Sept. 9.

The event will also feature door prizes, raffles, music and food vendors.

Because You Care is a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, treatment and adoption of stray and abandoned pets in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Walkers who raise at least $25 dollars for the nonprofit will receive an event T-shirt. Those who exceed $50 will be entered to win an iPad.

Want to walk? Fill out this form.

The event also needs volunteers to set up at 10 a.m., tear down at 3:30 p.m. and help out during the walk.

Interested volunteers should e-mail walkbyc@gmail.com.

The link to the form we’re supposed to fill out in order to walk doesn’t work. There’s no link.
