Edinboro University raises money for Hurricane Isaac relief

Students and administrators at Edinboro University are collecting money for the victims of Hurricane Isaac.

The fund drive runs until Sept. 12. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be given to representatives of the Greater Erie Chapter of the American Red Cross at the Edinboro home opener on Sept. 15.

In addition to the fundraiser, Chartwells Dining Services, the Student Government Association and University Services have pledged monetary donations to the fund. A portion of bookstore and campus convenience store sales through Sept. 11 and 12, respectively, will also be donated.

To donate, visit the Frank G. Pogue Student Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or visit www.edinborotickets.com. You can also drop off cash or checks, payable to EUSGA with “Hurricane Isaac” noted on the memo line, at the Community Outreach Center, 237 Pogue Student Center.
