Support patients in hospice care

Heartland Hospice volunteers give support, compassion and a listening ear to hospice patients.

According to its Volunteer Match listing, there are four ways to get involved:

-Visit hospice patients and their families in a nursing home settings.

-Counsel the bereaved. Additional training will be provided.

-Share your craft. Heartland Hospice need licensed professionals (beauticians, etc.) to lend their services.

-Sit by the bedside of a dying patient.

Volunteer commitments are flexible.
