Operation Christmas Child of Northwest Pennsylvania is hosting a special box drop-off event today at the Chick-fil-A in Summit Township.

All box donors will receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich and have a chance to meet the Christmas cow during lunch and dinner hours.

Operation Christmas Child sends boxes of toys and monetary donations to children in countries across the world.

Empty shoe boxes should be filled with gifts for a child of a specific age group and gender. More information about how to fill a box can be found on Operation Christmas Child’s website.

If you can’t make it to the event today, you can find a drop-off location near you here.
