You’ve seen the commercials.

You know the slogan: “Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life and give to those who are not.”

Well, here’s a different way to give.

The proceeds of the 13th Annual Country 98 Country Cares Radiothon will go to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year’s radiothon will take place at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie on Thursday and Friday.

And it needs your help.

Volunteers will answer phones, process pledges and complete a range of tasks to help the fundraiser go off without a hitch.

Radiothon shifts range from two to four hours. Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts.

St. Jude’s encourages volunteers to invite their coworkers, friends and family members to participate in this great event. Just make sure to schedule the volunteering shifts before the event.

For more information or to schedule a volunteering shift, contact Whitney Fain at (412) 695-8400 or (800) 303-5937 or at whitney.fain@stjude.org.
