The Sight Center of Northwest Pennsylvania is looking for volunteers to fulfill a variety of its sight-impaired patients’ needs.

According to Get Connected, the center is currently looking for readers and shoppers.

Volunteer readers help patients read mail, tests, newspapers and other publications.

Shoppers accompany patients on shopping trips and help them pick out groceries or personal items.

These are just a couple of the opportunities available at the Sight Center. To learn more or get involved, contact Penny Ohmer at pennyo@sightcenternwpa.org.
