Villa Maria Elementary School is holding a food and clothing drive for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Catholic Charities of Trenton, N.J. informed the school that victims need the following:
- Water
- Diapers and Wipes
- Batteries
- Towels
- Battery Operated Carbon Dioxide Detectors
- Hand Warmers
- Flashlights
- Gloves and Hats
- Coats
- Warm clothing and pajamas
- Candles
- Lighters/Matches
- Gas Cards (Exxon, Valero and Amoco)
- Dog and Cat Food
- Toilet Paper and Paper Towels
- Disposable Cups
- Non-perishable Food (Spam, Peanut Butter, Crackers, Cereal, Protein Bars)
Donations can be dropped off at the Villa Maria Elementary School Athletic Center, at 2551 W. Eighth St., on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m.
