Born to run (for political office, too)

I uncovered this fun fact while researching the Pennsylvania roots of the GOP presidential candidates.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul was the Pennsylvania state champion in the 220-yard dash as a high school junior at Dormont High, near Pittsburgh.

So running for political office must come naturally for Paul.

  1. FWIW Ron Paul is also the only person to hit a home run out of the park in a congressional baseball game. Ron Paul is pretty good at winning as long as there’s no fraud.
