Dahlkemper pitches in for Obama campaign

Former U.S. Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper, of Erie, will help the Barack Obama campaign open another field office tonight.

The latest office to open will be in Sharon, the 27th of the campaign so far. That includes the one in downtown Erie.

Dahlkemper will be joined at 7 p.m. by Farrell Mayor Olive McKeithan, along with volunteer leaders and staff.

The office will serve as a hub for Democratic activities in the area such as registering voters and talking one-on-one to voters about Obama’s record, the campaign said.

  1. Net Loss says:

Kathy was a net loss for Erie. Phil English was such a powerful voice for Erie chairing the ways and meanc committee. It’s terrible that Kathy ended all those years of senority just to get booted out after 1 term. What a waste. I wish she would just lay low. Clearly she doesn’t comprehend how bad she set Erie back. We will probably never have a US Rep from Erie again.
