Before Romney faces Obama he has to win the nomination. He only had 351 delegates out of the 1144 he needs as of this week end compared to 137 for Ron Paul. This of course was before Paul won Minnesota this weekend picking up 32 of 40 national delegates. Most of the Republican delegates will be chosen in state conventions over the next 8 weeks and as of right now Paul is poised to do very well because Romney has very little grassroots support. Paul on the other hand is very well organized and has built a solid base through out this process.
