Democratic congressional candidate Missa Eaton will be in Erie on Thursday to “unveil her five-point plan for improving the lives of the constituents in the 3rd Congressional District,” according to a press release from her campaign.
Eaton will be at La Bella restaurant, 802 W. 18th St., at 7 p.m. The appearance is one of three stops for Eaton throughout the district on Thursday — she is also visiting Butler and Sharpsville.
“I want to share with the voters our plan so that I can begin a frank and open dialogue that will include their questions and feedback to fine-tune this plan as the campaign moves forward,” Eaton said in a statement.
According to her campaign, Eaton’s day includes a series of roundtable discussions at La Bella and two other restaurants — a breakfast at Café Main in Butler County, and a lunch at DiLorenzo’s Deli in Sharpsville.
“This will be the first of many opportunities to travel around the district and share my plan with the residents,” Eaton said. “I plan to do this in as many towns as I can visit before November.”

If NW PA voters are smart, they’ll vote Kelly out and vote Missa Eaton in. She’s awesome!
Missa Eaton 2012!!
Mike Kelly’s a disgrace. It’s time to vote in your own best interest. It’s time to vote for Missa Eaton.
Don’t let the GOP ruin this country. Everything they’ve been doing is in the wrong direction.
Stop them now. If not, they’ll have another two years to further destroy our society. We can only take so much abuse from the Republicans. They’ve blocked a great many opportunities for life in this country to improve and for our economy to recover from the devastating Bush years.
Democrats are on the side of “We the People.”
Missa Eaton 2012!!!
A lot of people think Obama is ruining this country, too. Literally destroying our way of life. Keep drinking the kool-aid, Elgin Blue. We like Mike Kelly around here.
Doug says: “A lot of people think Obama is ruining this country, too. Literally destroying our way of life. Keep drinking the kool-aid, Elgin Blue. We like Mike Kelly around here.”
Apparently, “a lot of people” were asleep during eight years of the Bush administration when he was driving our country off the cliff. President Obama saved us from certain disaster. He saved the auto industry, for one thing. If he hadn’t, perhaps Kelly’s dealership would have been in jeopardy.
What “way of life” do you mean? You’ve provided no evidence that you even know what you’re talking about.
No “kool-aid” here, Bubba. You’re the one who’s deluding yourself if you think that Mike Kelly is doing what’s right for the people. Take a look at how he’s been voting in the House. He’s voted twice for the Paul Ryan budget that would cut Social Security and turn Medicare into a voucher. He voted to repeal the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act which is already working for a great many Americans. He voted against the FCC rule to preserve a free, open Internet. He voted to repeal many EPA clean air regulations. He voted to kill the Emergency Mortgage Relief Program. He voted to swap away federal lands to copper mining interests. He voted to repeal the Prevention and Public Health Fund. And he voted to keep incentivizing the offshoring of our jobs.
Need I go on? Kelly’s votes are harmful to the people of NW PA and this entire country.
You “like Mike Kelly around here.” Do you mean around Butler? That’s certainly where he needs to be, not Washington.
Missa Eaton 2012!!
