An online survey among nearly 800 iPhone and Android users, conducted by Harris Interactive, asked: “If the presidential election were held today, who would you vote for?”

Of those surveyed, 49 percent said they would vote for Obama and 31 percent chose Romney.

The survey was conducted on behalf of Velti, a global provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology.
