Erie County Dems announce Loomis fundraiser

The Erie County Democratic Party is reminding voters about a Thursday evening fundraiser for John Loomis, candidate for Erie County sheriff.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Polish Falcons Club, 431 E. Third St. Cost is $10. Loomis will be on hand, and pizza, games, refreshments and music will be provided.
Loomis and Randy Boga, both deputy sheriffs, are seeking the Democratic nomination for sheriff in the May 21 municipal primary.
Republican Eddie Whiteman, a small-business owner, filed for his party’s nomination.
Sheriff Bob Merski is not running for re-election.
