Judge candidate Walsh to open Erie office

Lawyer Joe Walsh, one of four candidates running for a seat on the Erie County Court bench, will officially open his campaign headquarters Monday.

The grand opening will be at noon at 183 W. 14th St., which is on the west end of Union Station.

Walsh will make brief remarks and announce several key endorsements.

All four candidates for judge are running for both Republican and Democratic nominations, but Walsh is the only registered Democrat.

His office will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekends at select times for phone banking and other campaign activities.

The other candidates in the race are Bill Kelly Jr., Jamie Mead and Robert Sambroak Jr.
