State Dems file ethics complaint against Corbett

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party filed an ethics complaint this week against Gov. Tom Corbett, alleging that the governor has accepted gifts from lobbyists and organizations “that later benefited from his policies.”
The party based most of its complaint on allegations contained in a recent Philadelphia Daily News article.
“The facts clearly warrant an investigation by the Ethics Commission into whether gifts Governor Corbett influenced his policy decisions,” the Pennsylvania Democratic Party said in a statement.
Corbett’s office denies that he did anything improper.
