Grossman, Dahlkemper plan events

The two Democratic candidates for Erie County executive have more events planned as the May 21 primary draws closer.

County Executive Barry Grossman’s campaign committee, the Friends of Barry Grossman, will hold a $100 per person fundraiser Monday evening at the Warner Theatre in downtown Erie. The event, with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

For more information or to make a reservation, visit www.joingrossman.com or call 873-9740.

His challenger, former Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper, will hold another one of her meet-and-greet events, this time on Saturday at Freeport Restaurant, 11104 Lake Road, North East. The event starts at 10 a.m.

About 45 minutes later, she will start campaigning door-to-door in nearby neighborhoods.

Rather than a traditional campaign headquarters, Dahlkemper is traveling to different parts of the county each week to hear from voters.
