Dahlkemper, Fatica discuss Corbett education record today

p12fatica101911Former U.S. Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper, the Democratic nominee for Erie County Executive in the Nov. 5 municipal election, and Erie County Councilman Phil Fatica Will discuss Republican Gov. Corbett’s education record this morning at Erie County Democratic Party Headquarters, 1305 State St.

The event begins at 11 a.m.  Corbett has recommended changes to various education regulations, drawing criticism from both Democrats and Republicans.

Dahlkemper defeated incumbent County Executive and fellow Democrat Barry Grossman in the May 21 municipal primary.  She will  face Republican Don Tucci in the November election.

Fatica, also a Democrat, is currently serving his second term on County Council.
