Erie County Executive-elect Kathy Dahlkemper  introduced her transition team on Friday.

The group is led by former State Sen. Jane Earll, Erie lawyer Jim Walczak and Tina Mengine, Dahlkemper’s former chief of staff during her time in Congress.

But Dahlkemper doesn’t want the second part of her Friday announcement, the launch of, to get lost in the shuffle.

From Dahlkemper’s camp:

Erie County Executive-Elect Kathy Dahlkemper has launched a website at asking for input and ideas from people who are interested in seeing Erie County change.

I truly believe that anyone who has a constructive idea or interesting input should have a voice, a way of being heard,” Dahlkemper said. “This website will be up for the duration of my transition as a way for people to give their thoughts on the transition process and also to share ideas on how to move Erie County in a positive direction in the future.”

Along with asking for input and ideas, those interested in being a part of Dahlkemper’s team are invited to submit resumes there.

We are looking for the best and the brightest, the people who have the highest standards and truly believe they can make a difference right here at home,” Dahlkemper said.

Thoughts?  As always, we welcome them.  Pass them along.
