Mark Gennuso, an accountant, appears to have only a waiting game before he can become a Fairview supervisor.
We’ve already reported that Gennuso defeated a five-man field to emerge with the Republican nomination during the May 21 primary.
Now we find out that Gennuso also gained 109 write-in votes to win the Democratic nomination as well. That means he will appear on both party ballots in the Nov. 5 election, making his election even more of a virtual shoe-in.
Barring a win from an Independent or third-party candidate who could yet join the race, Gennuso will join the three-member Board of Supervisors in January.
