About Greg Spinks

Welcome to our Crawford County Blog and thanks for the visit. Most recently, I wrote for the print version of the Crawford Neighbors at the Erie Times and previously for the former Brown-Thompson community newspapers. Back in the day, I also wrote for the former Erie Story Magazine. Guess it is fair to say, I have been growing up with journalism for more than a few years.

Crawford County is a big place with a lot of history and some of the best and most dedicated people around. There is always something newsworthy happening. Your comments, suggestions, insights and announcements are appreciated and welcomed. Just send an email to spinksgreg@gmail.com.

Like many of us, I live in a rural area with dusty, dirt roads, blinding snowstorms, soggy springtime weather, beautiful summers and brilliant fall colors. I enjoy just about anything outdoors; fishing, camping, hunting, a big vegetable garden, and even splitting firewood and ice fishing.

One of my favorite quotes: “Put your hand on the plow, and hold on!”

I also enjoy writing. One of my other favorite places which I manage is Koyote Hill at http://koyotehill.blogspot.com. There are links there to other Websites such as Helium, Associated Content and Hub Pages where I have posted articles, many of which are based on experiences in rural life in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Thanks for the visit, be sure to return. Leave a comment, contribution, or suggestion if you want.
