It’s the basis for the Occupy Movement, which claims that one percent of the population controls over 40 percent of the wealth in this country. The rest of us are lumped into the other 99 percent.

But which percentage?

In all fairness, according to the movement, if you make less than $500,000 you have no chance of moving into that rarified percentage of wealth. But you would have to make less than $2500 a year to bottom out in the bottom one percent.
