Lenore Skomal is an award-winning author and career journalist with experience in all forms of media including print, broadcasting and the Internet. She is a columnist for the Erie Times-News and author of 14 published books, including Heroes: Fifty Stories of the American Spirit, Keeper of Lime Rock: The Remarkable True Story of America’s Most Celebrated Lighthouse Keeper, Motherhood: A Celebration and Wide Awake. She is a former professor of journalism at Allegheny College, a public speaker with over 1000 speaking engagements and offers workshops on writing.
