Blidi Wreh-Wilson has landed a spot on one NFL analyst’s list of top five cornerbacks for the NFL Draft.
Mike Mayock of NFL Network ranks Wreh-Wilson as the No. 4 cornerback prospect for the draft, which will take place April 25-27. His positional rankings appear on nfl.com.
Wreh-Wilson, a General McLane graduate and former University of Connecticut standout, has been projected by scouting websites to be drafted anywhere from the late first round to the late third round.
The 6-foot 1-inch, 195-pounder recently participated in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He recorded an official time of 4.53 seconds in the 40-yard dash and fared well in the agility drills, positional drills and bench press, as well as the vertical and broad jump.
ESPN analyst Todd McShay recently projected Wreh-Wilson as the No. 23 overall pick in the first round.
