For the second consecutive day, Penn State Behrend had 16 hits as it rolled to an 11-2 victory over Mount Aloysius in the AMCC baseball tournament at Behrend.
Ryan Kragnes, John Hlavinka and Matt Bittner had three hits apiece and Taylor Overby added two hits and three RBIs to lead Behrend into Saturday’s finals.
Ryan Jacobs allowed two runs over six innings, and three Behrend relievers each pitched a scoreless inning for the Lions.
Behrend (29-10) has not lost in the double-elimination tournament and will meet the winner of this afternoon’s La Roche-Mount Aloysius game Saturday.
La Roche, which eliminated Pitt-Greensburg 2-0 Thursday, will take on Mount Aloysius in an elimination game today at 2 p.m.

The Penn State Behrend baseball team opened the AMCC baseball tournament Thursday with a 9-3 victory over Pitt-Greensburg on the Behrend campus.
The Lions pounded 16 hits, as John Hlavinka, Matt Bittner and Vinny Rice led the way with three hits apiece. Bittner and Rice drove in three runs apiece, while Hlavinka scored four runs.
Rain fell throughout Erie this morning, but Behrend is scheduled to play its second-round game today against Mount Aloysius, which beat La Roche 3-0 Thursday.
