There had been plenty of speculation that Cathedral Prep grad Damion Terry would make his college debut at quarterback with Michigan State today.
However, that talk subsided before the game when Mark Dantonio told mlive.com that Terry was not ready to play against Youngstown State today after his week of practice.
Any thoughts of Terry seeing action today also faded as starter Connor Cook completed 14-of-21 passes for 191 yards and four TDs while leading Michigan State to a 35-10 halftime lead. He also rushed twice for 25 yards.
With Notre Dame looming next week, these developments could mean that Terry is headed for a redshirt season.
