With National Letter of Intent Day one week away, today’s Erie Times-News included three stories on football recruiting.

Cathedral Prep defensive back Marlon Tyree has learned that he does not have a scholarship offer from Bowling Green after he verbally committed to the Falcons in July. Here’s the Toledo Blade story.

Another Prep defensive back, William Monono, committed to Slippery Rock.

Girard standout Brian McNally, a three-time All-District 10 tight end, committed to St. Francis, Pa., a program in the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly  Division I-AA). McNally is working his way back from a knee injury that shortened his senior season.

Check the On Campus blog and Varsity blog during the next week for other recruiting updates.
