The annual Penn State Blue-White Game will cap the Nittany Lions’ first spring under new coach James Franklin. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. at Beaver Stadium.

Franklin, the former Vanderbilt coach, replaced Bill O’Brien, who left for the Houston Texans after two seasons as Penn State’s coach. O’Brien led the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 record in 2012 and a 7-5 mark in 2013.

Girard graduate Jordan Dudas will make his first appearance on the field in a Penn State uniform. Dudas played two seasons at Bucknell before transferring to Penn State after the 2012 season. He sat out the 2013 because of NCAA transfer rules.

Dudas, a 6-foot, 208-pound junior, will play safety today and wear jersey No. 34 for the White team.

He started 16 of his 22 games at Bucknell, finishing 10th on the team with 27 tackles as a freshman and fifth on the team with 46 tackles as a sophomore.
