The Erie Pennsylvania Sport Fishing Association will hold its 6th annual Fishing Is For Fun Day this Saturday from 9am until 12pm. This event will take place at the Perry Monument area on Presque Isle State Park. The event is free to the first 75 kids who register. Bait and tackle will be provided. Also, a lunch of hot dogs,chips, and soda will be offered. Volunteers will assist the children who must be 12 and under. Brian Gula, the Presque Isle State Park Environmental Education Specialist, will be there. He’ll host a seminar on the basics of fishing and will also talk about Presque Isle’s many natural resources.
