A visit to Cascade Creek

Cascade Creek is a small Lake Erie tributary stream, located along the bayfront, and close to downtown Erie. Steelhead and brown trout are found in this stream. With the water warming up quickly, almost all of the steelhead have made their way out to the lake, but there are usually a few brown trout that remain in the creek. They blend in well and are skittish, so use caution when approaching the stream.
