OTTERS EXTRA: Update on Otters at NHL rookie camps

Erie Otters G Oscar Dansk earned a win in net today at the NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, Mich., despite having a rough outing. He allowed five goals on 18 shots for Columbus in a 7-5 victory against Carolina (1-1-0) at Center Ice Arena. The Blue Jackets (1-1-0) scored three goals in the final 8 1/2 minutes of the third period to erase a 5-4 deficit.
D Troy Donnay had no points and a minus-1 rating for the New York Rangers in a 6-5 overtime loss to Buffalo. Former Otters F Andrew Yogan, who split time between the AHL and ECHL a season ago, had no points on four shots, a minus-2 and two penalty minutes for the Rangers (0-1-1). Former Otters D Brady Austin, now with Belleville, had no points and a minus-1 for the Sabres (2-0-0).
F Dane Fox had no points on one shot and four penalty minutes for St. Louis (1-1-0) in a 3-2 overtime win against Minnesota (0-1-1). Teams take Saturday off before returning to game action Sunday. Dansk and the Blue Jackets face Donnay and the Rangers at 6:30 p.m., followed by Fox and the Blues against Detroit at 7 p.m. RW Connor Brown, former Otters Greg McKegg and David Broll and the Toronto Maple Leafs face the Pittsburgh Penguins Saturday at the Toronto Maple Leafs Rookie Tournament at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario.
